For employees of acquired companies, Pasupalak outlined a plan: any owner-operated or small business (one to five contractors) would receive a “generous departure package” and support finding new work through their network. While this structure mirrors private equity buyouts, it formalizes the displacement of human roles by AI agents in an operational context.
The move directly engages with public concern about job loss due to advanced automation. Pasupalak suggests that automating mundane tasks will free humans for creative and artistic pursuits, drawing comparisons to historical shifts like the printing press.
